Inspired by her doggy family, Mouse and Biggy, Georgina decided to create Mouse and Biggy.
“Mouse and Biggy began just over 12 months ago. I made my dog Mouse, a Ternterfield Terrier, a bandana to wear. I had so many people asking me where I got the bandana from that I decided to start making them to sell at markets etc. They proved very popular and so I decided to sell them online and that’s how Mouse and Biggy started” she says.
“I started off my working career at a veterinary and although been away from the dog care industry for a while I’ve just started work at a dog grooming salon. I love to be near animals. My business began with dog bandanas but has expanded a little and we now also sell leashes, beds, and a doggy travel bag.”
“I think our products are a little unique as our bandanas are reversible, with a different, complementary, design on both sides. Our items are all unique as they are all individually hand made and of course great care is taken when making each and every item”
“The best thing about running a business like ‘Mouse and Biggy’ is getting to see all the different dogs enjoying our products and meeting all their loving owners. The only major challenge is trying to keep up with orders sometimes as I am a solo operator but that is not really a major problem”
Currently Georgina’s favourite product is the Colours and Feathers bandana and their snuggly Sherpa and Denim coats. “Mouse definitely stays nice and cozy in her coat”
